Curtis Anthony Anderson

Curtis Anthony Anderson (born May 29, 1940 ) is an American philosopher and philosophy professor at the University of California, Santa Barbara .

C. Anthony Anderson received his Ph.D. in Philosophy from the University of California, Los Angeles , when collaborating with seminal philosopher Alonzo Church . He also has a Masters of Science degree in mathematics from the University of Houston , which he did in 1965. There he also received his undergraduate degree in physics and mathematics.

Anderson has specialized in the philosophy of logic and the philosophy of language over the years . However, he also works temporarily in other areas such as the philosophy of religion .
