Cuttermaran is a simple free video editing software .
Cuttermaran specializes in the cutting of videos in MPEG-1 - and MPEG-2 - Format . The videos must already be available with separate video and audio tracks, ie demultiplexed ("demuxed"); this can be done, for example, with programs such as Avidemux . The special feature is that the video does not need to be re- encoded , which avoids loss of quality and saves computing time.
