Cuvier Canyon

The Cuvier Canyon is a deep-sea trench in the D'Urville Sea off the coast of the East Antarctic Adélieland .
It is named after the naming of the neighboring Cuvier Island . It is named after the French naturalist Georges Cuvier (1769–1832).
