Cynthia Cleese
Cynthia Cleese (born February 1971 ) is an English - American actress .
Life
She is the daughter of the English actor John Cleese and the American actress Connie Booth . She became known for her role as Portia in the film A Fish Called Wanda . There she played the daughter of John Cleese's role, Archie Leach. She was named Cynthia Caylor in the credits of the film , as Caylor is her grandmother's maiden name.
She made her second major film appearance in the movie Wilde Kreaturen , again at her father's side. There she played Pip , who takes care of the small mammals at the Marwood Zoo . In this film, she first appeared under her real name. As a special gimmick she quoted her father in this film with one of his sentences as Black Knight of the Holy Grail : "It's just a flesh wound!" ( "It's just a flesh wound!" ).
She is married to screenwriter Ed Solomon and they have two children, Evan and Olivia.
