Cyril Davies' All Stars

Cyril Davies' All Stars was a British blues band that Cyril Davies formed in 1963 after he left Blues Incorporated . They were one of the very first British blues bands and the first to play electrically amplified.

Band members were Davies (harmonica, vocals) Long John Baldry (vocals), Bernie Watson (guitar), Cliff Barton (bass), Nicky Hopkins (piano) and Carlo Little (drums). The All Stars were a popular club band in London . Occasional guest appearances had among others Jeff Beck , Jimmy Page and Micky Waller .

After Davies' death in early 1964, Long John Baldry continued the band under the name Hoochie Coochie Men . The record company Immediate used the band name for various recordings of musicians on their label.
