Cyrus Pallonji Mistry

Cyrus Pallonji Mistry (born July 4, 1968 ) is an Irish manager .

Life

Mistry is the youngest son of the Indian construction magnate Pallonji Mistry and his Irish wife. On December 28, 2012, he became chairman of the Tata Group , an Indian industrial conglomerate. He is the sixth chairman of the group and, after Nowroji Saklatwala, the second not from the Tata family. In 2013 the Economist described him as “the most important industrialist in India and Great Britain”. In October 2016, Mistry was dismissed and Ratan Tata temporarily took over the management of the company again.
