Czcibor

Czcibor ( Latin called Cidebur ; † after June 24, 972) was the brother of the Polish prince Mieszko I from the later so-called Piast dynasty . Both were sons of Siemomysław .

Czcibor supported his brother Mieszko in the fight against the Saxon margraves from the Ostmark . On June 24th, 972 , he defeated Hodo, Margrave of Lusatia, in the Battle of Zehden , thus securing the conquest and supremacy of Poland over large parts of Pomerania .
