The German Fertilizer Ordinance of December 16, 2008 (updated 2012) regulates the approval and labeling of fertilizers . The type list as an essential part of the Fertilizer Ordinance is divided into the following sections:
- Straight mineral fertilizers:
- Nitrogen fertilizer ,
- Phosphate fertilizers ,
- Potash fertilizer,
- Lime fertilizer and magnesium fertilizer,
- Calcium, magnesium and sulfur fertilizers.
- Mineral compound fertilizers :
- NPK fertilizer,
- NP fertilizer,
- NK fertilizer,
- PK fertilizer.
- Organic and organic-mineral fertilizers:
- Without the use of secondary raw materials,
- using secondary raw materials.
- Fertilizers with micro-nutrients
