D-Mente was an Argentine groove metal band that emerged from the band ANIMAL in 2006 .
history
The band first met in late 2005, but wasn't officially formed until 2006. The band consisted of Andrés Giménez, who founded the metal band ANIMAL , the guitarist Lisardo Alvarez, the drummer Marcelo Baraj and the bass guitarist Christian Cocchiararo. So far, D-Mente has released three albums. Their debut album of the same name, which contains eleven songs, was released in 2006, the year it was founded. The second album, Valiente Eternidad , was created in 2008.
From 2007 the band gave many concerts, mainly in Argentina and especially in Buenos Aires . From 2008 the band also gave concerts outside Argentina. D-Mente disbanded in September 2014.
