DNS

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

DNS was an electronic music project that was founded by Tobias Birkenbeil in 1992 and that existed until 1994. Stylistically most likely to be attributed to electronic body music , the music also moves between the 1980s and pop music .

history

The first publication of the DNS project took place in 1992 on the highly regarded compilation Jung Machines Vol. 1 by the Machinery Records label and included the songs Hell and Overlove . After excellent reviews, the debut CD Clouds and Bombs followed in 1993 and several concerts in Germany. For unknown reasons, no follow-up album was released and Tobias Birkenbeil concentrated on working as a studio musician, remixer and composer of film music for German public television.

In 2011, Tobias Birkenbeil reappeared as a co-founder of the Lakobeil project .
