DBDesigner 4
DBDesigner 4 is a tool for software development with structured design developed under the GPL . It supports software developers in the design and implementation of databases . The design is saved in XML , which makes it easy to further process e.g. B. made possible by plug-ins . DB Designer specializes in the modeling of MySQL databases.
Versions for Windows and Linux are available.
In addition to the design mode for modeling, DB Designer also has a query mode. Complex database queries, e.g. B. for use in PHP scripts.
The development of the program has been stopped. An alternative program with a large range of functions is the MySQL Workbench , which is available for Windows, MacOSX and Linux.
