DJ Clé

DJ Clé (* 1967 as Clemens Kahlcke ) is a DJ and music producer from Germany . Together with Mike Vamp he is also known under the name Märtini Brös . From 1989 to 1990 DJ Clé performed as a DJ in the fish laboratory in Berlin . From 1991 he became resident DJ in Tresor , later also in Berlin's Planet .

From 1993, Clé was a regular DJ at E-Werk and until 1995 organized a series of parties under the name Kaspar's Camp . From 1996 to 1997 Clé had his own club night at the Suicide Club (under the name Clé FC ). From the end of 1997 to mid-1998 it took place in the Discount Club . He then organized a new series under the name Chez Clé in the Pfefferbank. In 1996 he was also involved with the operators of the Aufschwung Ost club in Kassel in the naming and naming of the Stammheim club , which later became one of the most famous techno clubs in Germany. In 1998 he also founded the Märtini Brös project together with Mike Vamp . Her works are published on Steve Bug's label Poker Flat . The first record already had a considerable success within the scene. In 2000, Clé founded the Berlin Mitte Boys formation together with Jürgen Laarmann and Mike Vamp . The project was canceled after the first release Berlin Mitte Boy - a cover version of the title New York City Boy by the Pet Shop Boys - which was released on the Berlin label MFS .
