DNP (Das neue Prekariat) was a German music group in the rap / hip-hop genre . The band was under contract with the Trailerpark label . DNP consisted of the rapper Basti (civil: Sebastian Krug ) and the singer and producer Beatmasta from Berlin . Beatmasta previously worked with KIZ .

Her first release was HIV EP in 2008. They won the MTV rookie weekly voting. In July 2011 they released the album "Bis one weint", which is distributed by Rough Trade Records . They reached number 85 on the German album charts .

Krug completed an apprenticeship as an automobile salesman. Beatmasta left the music business and has since focused on his political career.
