DS Produkte is a trading company with headquarters in Stapelfeld , northeast of Hamburg. The logistics center is in Gallin . The company supplies mail order, grocery, retailers and discounters in Germany and Europe with promotional goods . It also supplies numerous non-food items for marketing on TV and on the Internet.

history

The family business DS Produkte was founded in 1973 by Dieter Schwarz (not to be confused with the founder of Lidl and Kaufland of the same name ) in a garage. The company has expanded rapidly since the 1990s, with the number of employees growing from 50 in 1993 to over 400 in 2020. In addition, several subsidiaries were founded in Germany and abroad. In 1997 a logistics center was opened in Gallin, Mecklenburg, which was expanded in 2010.

In 2008 the company was sold to the private equity company Palamon Capital Partners and in 2012 it was bought back by the Dümmel and Hagemann families.

DS Produkte Managing Director Ralf Dümmel has been an investor in the VOX founder show " The Lion's Cave " since 2016 . Since then he has invested in 85 startups and supported more than 150 founders.

In 2019, another office building was added to the headquarters in Stapelfeld to create more jobs.

According to its own information, DS Produkte has more than 700 brands, registered designs, patents and utility models . The company's core brand is called maxx .
