The DSV roller-ski tour is a roller-ski competition series that extends over several competition venues, with several races in different roller-ski disciplines. The tour evaluation is based on the age group in the DWO . The winner of the respective age group is the one who has achieved the most points over the entire racing series. The aim of the DSV roller ski tour is to make roller skiing equally attractive for spectators and participants.

Every year around five national events take place across Germany, which are organized by clubs that are members of the German Ski Association . These clubs must apply to the DSV in advance to host the relevant roller-ski competition. The start is in the disciplines sprint , flat course , marathon and mountain course.

participation

At the events of the DSV Rollski-Tour, athletes of different rating classes of all state ski associations in the German Ski Association as well as international guests are allowed to start. The prerequisite is that you are a member of a club that belongs to a state ski association and that you pay an entry fee. Reports on the individual competitions are sent to the respective organizer. According to DWO Article 603, helmets and glasses are mandatory ; Stick plates, elbow and knee pads and gloves are recommended. According to DWO Article 606.4, each participant recognizes the guidelines for the event by naming them.

Host

Organizers are clubs that are members of a German state ski association. In the last 15 years, 32 German locations hosted the DSV roller- ski tour (see table of the DSV roller-ski tour venues ; PDF; 143 kB)

Dates and places

Current event dates and tour stations will be published before the current season on the website of the German Ski Association - Nordic roller skiing area. In the last 15 years, 32 clubs from different cities and towns hosted the DSV Rollski Tour (see list of venues).

The competitions - brief description

The organizing and racing committees of the respective organizers are responsible for the proper implementation of the events in close cooperation with the national technical delegate appointed by the organizer. The International Ski Competition Rules (IWO), the German Competition Rules (DWO 2013) and the rules for roller-ski competitions of the FIS - Sub-Committee for Roller Skis form the basis of the competition rules for roller skis. The articles of the IWO apply to the DWO and accordingly also to the rules for roller ski competitions. In the course of the history of this series of competitions, some of the starting disciplines were changed, adapted and expanded. Parts of the racing series are German championships (DM) and regional association championships , which are held in the following disciplines:

  • sprint
  • Flat route
  • marathon
  • Mountain run
  • Double pursuit
  • Team sprint

Team competitions can be run in the individual classes as follows:

a) 2, 3 or 4 runners from one club form a team. They can be from different classes.

b) A club can register any number of teams.

Master titles are awarded in the classes as follows:

German
master pupil and German master pupil
German master and German master (women & men general)
German junior
master and German junior master
German youth champion and German youth champion
German club relay champions (men 3x10 km / women 3x5 km)

German champion will be the fastest on the same route / distance, regardless of the actual age group.

Starting sequence

It is left to the organizer to carry out mass, group, single or double starts. In the student classes, however, there should be single or double starts.

jury

The jury for the events is made up of the DSV competition officer (speaker or representative), the head of the competition, the course manager and two trainers from the state ski associations. (DWO Art. 610.1)

Tour rating

The tour evaluation is based on the age group in the DWO. Youth runners can start in the junior class and students in the youth class at their own request.

The evaluation of the entire tour is carried out by means of a point system, which is based on the placement (see tour concept DSV roller ski tour). It is shown in the table below:

Tour winner

The tour winner of the respective age group is chosen who has achieved the most points over the entire racing series . There is a deletion result for each participant (the worst in each case). All races are equally important. If a race consists of a prologue and a main race, this only counts as one race for the tour. An award ceremony takes place after the last race of the tour series, the final. The winners receive medals, certificates and prizes for their achievements.

Current results of the individual races and the current tour ranking will be announced promptly on the homepage of the German Ski Association for Nordic Rollerskiing.

Nordic athletes from all over Germany were named to the DSV roller ski team. Under the leadership of the team captains, they have achieved many national and international successes in recent years. a. on the roller-ski tour, the World Cups and the World Championships.
