Babyjane is a Perth- based Australian hard rock band founded in 2009 . The group's debut album , Are You Listening, was released on March 26, 2011.
history
The musicians John Gerasolo (guitar), Paul Judge (bass) and Nik Kats (drums) had already got together and were looking for a singer they wanted to find through an audition . Andy Smith attended, several rehearsals were held over a period of time, and Smith initially decided against the group. After a trip to Europe, the participants came together again and decided to work together. The name was chosen by the film What Ever Happened to Baby Jane? inspired. In 2008 the band played in the opening act of Sebastian Bach's Australian tour and subsequently received a record deal .
In 2011 the group released their debut album entitled Are You Listening , the sound mixing of which was taken over by Michael Wagener . Wagener took over the entire production for the second album, Make It Sick , and John Corabi was also a guest singer .
