Sebastian Bach (2006)

Sebastian Bach (* 3. April 1968 in Freeport at the Bahamas as Sebastian Philip Bierk ) is the former lead singer of Skid Row .

Career

After an invitation from Dave "The Snake" Sabo , Sebastian Bach joined the group Skid Row in 1986 . After being kicked out of the band in 1995, he founded a new band called Sebastian Bach and Friends . He starred on Broadway in the popular plays The Rocky Horror Show and Jekyll & Hyde .

Sebastian Bach also appeared infrequently as a guest star in the Gilmore Girls series from 2003 to 2007 . There he played the musician Gil . In 2016 he was also featured in an episode of the sequel Gilmore Girls: A New Year .

In 2006 he appeared with his band in the opening act for Guns n 'Roses and sang the song My Michelle with Axl Rose , with whom he is good friends .

In November 2007 his solo album Angel Down was released . On the album produced by Roy Z , Axl Rose appeared on three songs (including the cover version of the Aerosmith classic Back in the Saddle ). On the 2008 Guns N 'Roses album Chinese Democracy , Bach sings the backing vocals of the song Sorry .

In September 2011, Bach's studio album Kicking & Screaming was released . It was created by Bob Marlette produced and Frontiers Records laid. In March 2013 the live album ABachalypse Now was released .

In 2013, Bach claimed that Mötley Crüe asked him after Vince Neil's departure if he wanted to replace him. Nikki Sixx reacted indignantly to these statements and accused Bach of lying. Bach then posted an interview on his Facebook page in which Nikki Sixx himself reported in 1994 about first asking Bach, then Steve Perry from Journey and finally John Corabi . In 2014 the album Give 'Em Hell was released , which was also produced by Marlette.

In 2014, Bach recorded the progressive house song Born to Rage in collaboration with the Swedish DJ duo Dada Life . A remix by the Polish DJ Blinders has been used on several compilations and podcasts. The song became a club hit and advanced to number 53 on the official Swedish singles chart.

Life

From a previous marriage to Maria Bierk, Bach has two sons, London and Paris, and a daughter, Sebastiana. He has been married to the model Suzanne Le since August 2015.
