Dave Sabo (born September 16, 1964 in Perth Amboy , New Jersey ), called The Snake , is an American guitarist and songwriter for the band Skid Row . He was also a founding member of the band Bon Jovi . He is also the manager of the band Down .

Career

Dave Sabo grew up with his brothers with his single mother in Sayreville , New Jersey, not far from Jon Bon Jovi .

Sabo was a founding member of Bon Jovi and was replaced by Richie Sambora before the first studio stay . Eventually he met Rachel Bolan at the local music store where he was employed. With him he founded Skid Row in 1986.

With the help of his friend Jon Bon Jovi, Sabo got a record deal with Atlantic Records . He wrote many of the songs on the multi-platinum albums Skid Row and Slave to the Grind .

In 2000, Sabo was a member of Anthrax for a short time , but this did not last long due to scheduling problems.
