Keep the Faith is a rock song by Bon Jovi from 1992. It was the first single from the album of the same name . The song is one of the most famous songs by the band and is a live classic. It is also included on the live DVDs Live from London and The Crush Tour .

The piece was written by Jon Bon Jovi , Richie Sambora and Desmond Child and recorded with Bob Rock . In 2009 it was released in a new version with the Washington DC Youth Choir on the compilation album Oh Happy Day .
reception
The piece reached number 5 in the UK and number 29 in the USA and even number 1 in the US Mainstream Rock Charts, making it the second and last Bon Jovi single after Livin 'on a Prayer . In Germany it reached number 8. The site Metalglory.de, wrote that the piece had shown "that these rock stars are far from over." On the site Ultimate-guitar.com the piece became one of the most impressive on the album counted. Whiskey-soda.de wrote: “The band achieved their mainstream world success with the title track 'Keep the Faith'. Probably every second 14-year-old girl could not hold back at the sight of Jon Bon Jovi on 'Keep the Faith'. "
Music video
The video was shot in New York City with director Phil Janou alternately in black and white and in color , with live scenes in between. The band is shown on the Brooklyn Bridge and Wall Street , among others .
