DTM junior team
The DTM Junior Team is a former racing team that Mercedes-Benz used in the German Touring Car Championship between 1993 and 1994 .
Alexander "Sandy" Grau and Stig Amthor were the team's only riders in both seasons. At the 1993 season finale at the Hockenheimring , Heinz-Harald Frentzen was originally supposed to be used as well, but his racing license was still in Japan , since Frentzen was competing in Formula Nippon at that time .
At the start were vehicles of the type AMG-Mercedes 190E 2.5-16 Evo II and 1994 190E Class 1 .
The best race result was a sixth place in the second run at the Berlin AVUS in 1993.
