Stig Amthor (born March 1, 1970 in Berlin ) is a former German automobile racing driver .

Career

Stig Amthor was registered for 28 race weekends in the German Touring Car Championship and ITC between 1993 and 1995 . He started in 54 races. Amthor was able to score 19 points in total. His best race result was eighth place in the second round at the Nürburgring in 1993 in an AMG-Mercedes 190E 2.5-16 Evo II . After two years with the Mercedes junior team DTM Junior Team , Amthor moved to Alfa Romeo in the Alfa Corse 2 team . There he finished ninth in an Alfa Romeo 155 V6 TI as the best result on the AVUS .
