Da Bush Babees is an American hip hop group from Brooklyn . The band is associated with the Native Tongues Posse . The band members are Lee Majors, who used to be called Babe-B-Face Kaos , Mister Man and Y-Tee. They grew up in Jamaica and Trinidad .
history
Mister Man met Kaos in Brooklyn in 1992. The two decided to work together and later added a reggae voice to the band, Y-Tee. Shortly after their first appearances, they were discovered by the Reprise Records label , where they released their first studio album, Ambushed , in 1994 . a. Includes productions by Jermaine Dupri and Ali Shaheed Muhammad . The second album Gravity was released in 1996 by the major label Warner. It was more commercially successful than its predecessor and contained the single The Love Song produced by De La Souls Posdnous , the chorus of which is sung by Mos Def . An album announced for 2004 has not yet been released.
