from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Dadunzi ( Chinese  大 墩子 遗址 , Pinyin Dàdūnzi yízhǐ , English Dadunzi site ) is a Neolithic site predominantly of the Dawenkou culture in Pizhou , the former Pi ("Pixian" 邳县) district, in the Chinese province of Jiangsu . It was excavated in 1963 and 1966 by employees of the Nanjing Museum . The grave goods discovered there provide important information about the sepulchral culture of the time.

The Dadunzi site ( Dadunzi yizhi ) has been on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China (6-71) since 2006 .
