Pizhou

Pizhou ( Chinese 邳州 市 , Pinyin Pīzhōu Shì ) is a Chinese urban district and belongs to the district-free city of Xuzhou in Jiangsu Province . It has an area of 2,088 km² and has a population of 1,614,000 (2005). Its main town is the large community of Yunhe ( 运河 镇 ).
The Neolithic Dadunzi site (Dadunzi yizhi 大 墩子 遗址) has been on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China (6-71) since 2006 .

At the community level, the urban district is made up of twenty-four large communities .
