Dagmar Hessenland

Dagmar Hessenland (born December 29, 1941 in Dresden ) is a German actress .

She completed her training at the Max Reinhardt Seminar in Vienna. In the course of her acting career, she has appeared on the theater stage in Vienna, Munich, Bonn, Cologne and Frankfurt am Main, among others.

Hessenland was best known on television for her role in the WDR series Lindenstrasse , in which she embodied the character of Elisabeth Dressler from episode 5 (January 5, 1986) to episode 261 (December 2, 1990). In 1996 she played the secretary of the shipping company in an offshoot of the television series Aufachse . She is married to her colleague Dieter Schaad , who also had a role (as Dr. Manfred Pauli, 1989–1995) in Lindenstrasse . Today she can often be seen in various theater performances, also together with her husband.

In 2009 she was seen in two productions ( Never work again and Don Camillo and Peppone ) at the Comedy Düsseldorf .
