Dagmar Zobel

Dagmar Zobel (* 1956 in Karlsruhe ) is a Protestant pastor and prelate for the southern Baden parish of the Evangelical Regional Church of Baden .

Live and act

After graduating from high school in Karlsruhe, Dagmar Zobel began studying chemistry and physics before enrolling in Protestant theology at Heidelberg University . She completed her teaching vicariate as well as her parish vicariate in Pforzheim . She then shared a position with her husband as a pastor in Markdorf on Lake Constance. From 1999 to 2011 she was responsible for the pastoral training of prospective pastors at the Preachers' Seminar in Heidelberg.

Dagmar Zobel was involved in the regional church center for pastoral care, in emergency pastoral care and in networking the training centers for pastors. For several years she was on the board of the international conference of seminaries. In May 2011 she was elected to succeed Hans Pfisterer as prelate for South Baden, and took office at the end of October 2011.

Dagmar Zobel is married and has two daughters.
