Hans Pfisterer (theologian)

Hans Pfisterer (* 1947 in Heidelberg ) is a Protestant theologian, church historian and prelate i. R. of the Evangelical Church in Baden .

Live and act

Hans Pfisterer studied Protestant theology at the Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg , as well as in Vienna and Zurich . With the dissertation: Carl Ullmann (1796–1865), his path to mediation theology , he became Dr. theol. PhD. After his vicarage in Offenburg and Friedrichstal , he was ordained in 1977. The first pastor's position in Stutensee- Friedrichstal was followed in 1985 as dean of schools and in 1991 as dean of the church district of Lörrach .

In the election of the regional bishop of the Evangelical Church in Baden in 1997, he was narrowly defeated by Ulrich Fischer . In 1999 he was appointed to teach sermon at the Petersstift in Heidelberg. On January 1, 2006, he succeeded Helmut Barié as prelate for the southern Baden parish . In October 2011 he passed his prelate position on to Pastor Dagmar Zobel .
