The Daimler L11 was a single-seat, high- wing fighter plane . Only one copy was made by the aircraft department of Daimler-Motoren-Gesellschaft . It was the first aircraft that Daimler built based on the plans of Hanns Klemm . The aerodynamically optimized machine was powered by a 185 hp (138 kW) Daimler D.IIIb eight-cylinder engine. The first flight took place in November 1918, after which the testing continued until February of the following year. A special feature of the L11 was the rotating wing tips, which served as servos for the aerodynamic aileron compensation.

The Daimler L14 was a two-seat variant of this aircraft.
