Daisen-ji (Kofu)

The Daisenji ( Japanese 大 泉 寺 , roughly: "Temple of the Great Spring ") is a temple in the Japanese city of Kofu in Yamanashi Prefecture . It is one of the facilities that go back to the Takeda family as the Buddhist temple of Rinzai-shu and were expanded by Takeda Shingen during the Sengoku period . Like the Kofu Gozan , the Zenkō-ji and the Erin-ji, it also belongs to the Kai Hyakuhachi Reijō , the 108 spiritual places of Kai. He is number 59.

history

The facility was built by the Takeda at the beginning of the Sengoku period . In the style of Japanese syncretism , the temple was and is responsible for the Takeda Nobutoras Shinto shrine located within the premises .

Graves

It contains the grave of Takeda Nobutora , the father of Takeda Shingen , and the grave of Shingen's son, Takeda Katsuyori . One of Takeda Shingen's many side graves is also located here.

That is why there is a pagoda in honor of the Big Three Takeda Princes on the site .
