Daizen Maeda ( Japanese 前 田 大 然 , Maeda Daizen ; born October 20, 1997 in Osaka Prefecture ) is a Japanese football player .

Career

Maeda learned to play soccer on the school team at Yamanashi Gakuin High School . He signed his first contract with Matsumoto Yamaga FC in 2016 . The club played in the second highest league in the country, the J2 League . In 2017 he was loaned to the second division Mito HollyHock . For Mito he completed 36 games. In 2018 he returned to Matsumoto Yamaga FC. In 2018 he became champion of the J2 League with the club and rose to the J1 League . For the club he completed 59 games. For the 2019/20 season, Maeda moved to the Portuguese first division club Marítimo Funchal . It was his first contract in Europe.

National team

In 2019 Maeda made her debut for the Japanese national football team . He has played a total of two international matches for Japan.
