The Daldowie Dovecot is a pigeon tower in the Scottish city ​​of Glasgow . In 1971 the structure was included in the Scottish monument lists in the highest monument category A.

The pigeon tower was built around 1745. It once stood on the grounds of the Daldowie Sewage Works . In 2000, the tower was dismantled from its original location and rebuilt along Hamilton Road ( A74 ) in east Glasgow. Its masonry consists of roughly hewn quarry stone with natural stone surrounds . The final curved roof is covered with slate. The lintel is designed with an ornamented keystone . A simple cornice divides the facade horizontally. Entrance holes are set into the masonry of the cylindrical tower above the cornice at eaves level. Nest boxes are embedded inside. The stairway consists of a more recent ladder construction.
