Dale Reinig (born April 7, 1964 in Buffalo ) is a former German - American ice hockey player . His son Aaron is also a hockey player.

Career

Since 1987 Dale Reinig played at EC Bad Nauheim , where he completed two successful seasons. Shortly afterwards, those responsible at ERC Westfalen Dortmund became aware of him, who signed him for the current 1988/89 season . In Dortmund he developed into a high performer and scored 24 scorer points in a total of 31 games. Since the club finally had to file for bankruptcy in 1990, Reinig was forced to leave the club.

Subsequent career stations included the EHC Freiburg and the ESC Wolfsburg . In the meantime he played in the former North American inline hockey league Roller Hockey International for the Buffalo Stampede . What followed was a successful new start with his previous employer, EC Bad Nauheim. Here Dale Reinig reached his career peak and provided good statistics. In 297 completed games he was able to score 131 points. At the end of the 1998/99 season he ended his active ice hockey career at the age of 35.

Today (2011) Reinig is the head coach of the Buffalo Saints , a junior team from Lancaster , New York .
