Dalia oil field

The Dalia oil field is an oil deposit in the South Atlantic 135 km off the coast of the Angolan enclave Cabinda .

Dalia was discovered in 1996, explored since then and started oil production in 2006 . The capacity of the field is estimated at one billion barrels , which is approximately 1.4 × 10 8 tons. They are stored 1200 to 1500 meters below the sea surface. The daily output is 240,000 barrels, about 87.5 million barrels per year. The largest licensee of the funding consortium is Total . Statoil , ExxonMobil and BP are also involved .

A Floating Production Storage and Offloading Unit built by the Korean company Samsung Heavy Industries is used for the promotion .
