Karl von Müller (politician, 1810)

Karl Wilhelm Viktor von Müller (born October 29, 1810 in Herzford Castle ; † December 5, 1879 at Gut Vrestorf ) was a landowner, councilor and member of the German Reichstag .

Life

Karl von Müller was the son of the Hanoverian officer Gustav von Müller. After attending the Gymnasium Georgianum , he studied law at the University of Göttingen from 1832 and became a member of the Corps Lunaburgia Göttingen. He inherited the Vrestorf estate near Bardowick and in 1847 sold his father's Herzford estate. Müller was a judicial advisor, director of the higher court and vice-president of Lüneburg .

In March 1877 he was elected in a by-election for the deceased MP Ernst Ludwig von Gerlach in the German Reichstag for the constituency of Hanover 4 ( Osnabrück ). He represented the Guelphs there and was a guest at the center until his death.
