Damaschkeplan is a suburb of the city of Calbe (Saale) in the Salzlandkreis .

Location and settlement

Damaschkeplan (since 1945) is located between the city of Calbe and Nienburg (Saale) , directly on the Saale (about 21 km). There are two settlement sections. The older part is on the road from the Bartels family's former estate on the Calbens side, the second part is on the Saale, in the direction of Nienburg.

history

In 1884/85 the Bartels family built a farmyard on the Damaschkeplan. The manor house was built in the style of a castle in the neo-renaissance style. The modern estate was described as a model agricultural economy with a large orchard and large park. At the instigation of Otto Bartels, the then Bartelshof also got its own train station on the Bernburg – Calbe (Saale) line , which was opened in 1890. The station is closed today.
