Damasios

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Damasios or Damasias ( Greek  Δαμασίος or Δαμασίας ) is in Greek mythology a son of Penthilus , son of Orestes of Mycenae with his half-sister Erigone . He is the brother of Echelaos if Penthilos had two sons. Damasios fought in the defense of Achaea against the Heraclids under Aristomachus on the side of his uncle Tisamenus . His son Agorios lived in the Achaean Helike at the time of Oxylos and was therefore withdrawn from the rule of the Heraclids until Oxylos brought him to Elis .
