Damjan Vtič (born May 13, 1985 in Trebnje ) is a former Slovenian Nordic combined skier .

Career

Vtič began his international career in 2001 in the Nordic Combined B World Cup. At the Junior World Championships in 2003 in Sollefteå he reached 5th place in the team competition with the team. In the sprint he reached 17th place, in Gundersen 34th place. A year later at the 2004 Junior World Championships in Stryn , he was able to improve a few places in Gundersen and came in 27th. He achieved the same placements in the sprint and with the team. On December 4th, 2004 in Trondheim he made his debut in the Nordic Combined World Cup . At the Nordic World Ski Championships 2005 in Oberstdorf Vtič reached 42nd place in the sprint. In Gundersen he reached 32nd place. In the 2005/06 season he achieved the best results of his career. He finished the season in 56th place in the overall World Cup ranking. In the Sprint World Cup he reached 46th place. At the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin , Vtič did not come in sprint over a 34th and in individual not over a 40th place. After he did not reach any top placements in 2006, he ended his active career in January 2007.
