The Friedrichsruhe steam train is located in Friedrichsruhe, a district of Zweiflingen in Baden-Württemberg .

Technical data and history

The parking lot with 127 mm (5 inches) and 184 mm (7.25 inches) gauge was built in Friedrichsruhe from 1970. It is run by the association Dampfbahnfreunde Friedrichsruhe e. V. operated. The line is 1.2 kilometers long as a double oval of track. The journey time is around five minutes.

The operating association Dampfbahnfreunde Friedrichsruhe e. V. owns four steam locomotives , of which the 1: 8 scale class 82 and two narrow-gauge locomotives 99 211 , replicas of the locomotive of the Wangeroog Island Railway , regularly pull the visitor trains, which run every 1st Sunday from May to October.
