Dan Mask (* 1971 in West Allis ) is an American composer, keyboardist and music teacher.

Mask took piano lessons during his school days and played the trumpet in a school band. He studied music theory and composition at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and the University of Wisconsin-Madison . He has given private composition, piano, trumpet and percussion lessons, and teaches music theory and composition at Cardinal Stritch University . He is a founding member of the rock quartet Far Corner , for which he works as a composer, keyboardist and occasionally percussionist. In addition to the pieces for Far Corner, Maske has composed chamber music works, works for various wind ensembles, for electro-acoustic instruments and for symphony orchestras. He is the author of the textbook Progressive Rock Keyboard .
