Daniel K. Povenmire (born September 18, 1963 in San Diego ) is an American cartoonist , writer , producer , screenwriter , artistic director and voice actor. He co- invented the animated series Phineas and Ferb with Jeff Marsh , and it always gets worse with Milo Murphy .

biography

After graduating from high school, Povenmire studied at USC. His first professional steps began in 1993 with the cartoon series Rockos Modern Life . For working on the episode "O-Town cleans up" of Rockos modern life , he won the 1996 EMA Award with Jeff Marsh.

From 1999 to 2002 Dan Povenmire worked on the cartoon series SpongeBob SquarePants . He was also involved in the animated series Family Guy . In 2000 and 2006 he was nominated for an Emmy Award for his work on the episodes "Peace Be With You" and "PTV" by Family Guy . Also in 2006, Povenmire was nominated for the Annie Award for his work on the episode "PTV". From 2007 to 2015, Povenmire worked with Jeff Marsh on the animated series Phineas and Ferb as director, screenwriter, producer and artistic director. In the English version of the series, he loaned Dr. Doofenschmirtz the voice.
