Dana Ward

Dana Ward (born August 23, 1949 in San José , California ) is a retired professor of political science at Pitzer College in Claremont , where he was in charge of the Anarchy Archives, which he founded.

Life

Dana Ward earned his BA in 1971 from the University of California, Berkeley and an MA in 1973 from the University of Chicago . He earned two Ph.D. from Yale University in 1981. corresponding to the German doctoral degree for psychology and political science. He held his chair at Pitzer College, California, since 1982. He was director of the International Society of Political Psychology from July 1998 to fall 2004. Ward also teaches at the psychology faculty at Claremont Graduate University .

Anarchy Archives

The " Anarchy Archives " project describes itself as an online research center for the history and theory of anarchism and was founded by Dana Ward in September 1995. Since spring 1997 it has been expanded by students of political science from Pitzer College.

The project consists of two main parts, a collection of the works of the main theorists of anarchism and a history of the anarchist movement in the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
