The Danau Linow is a lake of volcanic origin 25 kilometers southeast of Manado in northern Sulawesi , Indonesia . It lies within the Tondano Caldera . The small lake, which has a high sulfur content and smells of it, changes color with the incidence of light, and has a rich bird life.
