Dandeli ( Kannada ದಾಂಡೇಲಿ ) is a city in the Indian state of Karnataka with 52,000 inhabitants (2011 census).
Dandeli is located in the Western Ghats on the upper reaches of the Kali, 70 km from the west coast of India. The city is located at an altitude of 469 m . It is located in the Uttara Kannada district and as a city has the status of a City Municipal Council . Various tourist activities (bird watching, jungle safari, white water rafting) are offered in the area around Dandeli.
