Dang'ara is an urban-type settlement (shaharcha) in the Uzbek province of Farg'ona in the Fergana Valley and the capital of the district of the same name .

The place is about 75 km northwest of the provincial capital Fargʻona and directly north of the district-free city of Qoʻqon .

In 1979, Dang'ara received urban-type settlement status. According to the 1989 population census, the place had 7,983 inhabitants, according to a calculation for 2000, the population was 8,800.
