Danica Aćimac
Danica Aćimac , also Danica Pomorišac (born December 29, 1928 in Belgrade ; † June 11, 2009 ibid) was a Yugoslav actress .
Life
Aćimac started working at the Serbian theater in her native city as a child. In 1939 she started working on the radio at Radio Belgrade, which ended with the beginning of the Second World War . In 1950 she founded the "Cetinsjsko pozorište" with Minja Dedić and a group of art students and teachers in Cetinje . She became known to a wider public primarily through her work in television series ; her career there began in 1959 and lasted until 1976. Mainly, however, she devoted herself again to stage work, for years she was a member of the theater ensemble on the Terazije in Belgrade, where she was valued for her versatility. Until 1966 she often performed under the name Danica Pomorišac .
