Daniel Allerstorfer (born December 4, 1992 in Rohrbach in Upper Austria ) is an Austrian judoka and 14-time Austrian state champion, including 2013, 2015 and 2017 in the highest general judo weight class +100 kg.

Career

Daniel Allerstorfer became U20 European Champion in September 2011 at the European Championships from September 16 to 18, 2011 in Lommel, Belgium. Although already successful at the national level at this point in time, this victory was the starting signal for the athlete's previous international career.

He is currently fighting for the UJZ Mühlviertel in the Austrian Bundesliga . He is on the A-team of the Austrian Judo Association.

Daniel Allerstorfer has fought five fights in the second German Bundesliga for KSC Asahi Spremberg and one fight for the German judo champion 2013 TSV Abensberg , all of which he won with Ippon.

From May 13, 2013 to November 4, 2014, he was at the top of the European judo rankings without interruption, until the focus was placed on advancing the world rankings. On June 3, 2013, he was among the top 100 in the judo world rankings for the first time. Daniel Allerstorfer has been among the top 50 in the world rankings since autumn 2013. On November 3, 2014, he was in 20th place, his best ranking so far.

In May 2015 he qualified for the first time for the Judo Masters in Morocco. In June 2016 he finally qualified for the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro.

Daniel Allerstorfer was injured from spring 2018 to autumn 2018. A double herniated disc had incapacitated him.

Daniel Allerstorfer is the male representative for the federal state of Upper Austria of the anti-doping movement "Star Ribbon".
