Daniel Bosshard (born February 5, 1978 in Schlieren ) is a Swiss Thai boxer .

Life

At the age of six years Bosshard began with a school friend in the judo school Regensdorf with Judo . In the same year he moved to Shōtōkan , which he practiced with a four-year break due to a stay abroad up to the 1st Dan (Ichidan) and trained in the martial arts center miles and in the Kim Dojo in Zurich .

During his four-year stay at a German boarding school in Kenya, he came into contact with full contact sports for the first time. At the age of 16 he came back to Switzerland and began an apprenticeship as a gardener.

From March 1998 Bosshard practiced Thai boxing . He started his career in a small association with around 690 members worldwide. There he achieved various national and international successes. In 2004 he also completed a trainer training (C license) for Muay Thai . Bosshard became known in the EMTA association after 2000. After the association was dissolved in November 2005, Bosshard continued to give courses in self-defense and training for private security service providers for a while . He then joined the Schaffhausen Judo Club and was successful there several times.
