Daniel David Gasparri Rey

Daniel David Gasparri Rey is a Venezuelan diplomat.

Career

Gasparri holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the Venezuelan University of Santa María (Summa Cum Laude), a Bachelor of Human Resources from the Simón Rodríguez National Experimental University, a Master of Business Administration from the Chilean Technical University of Federico Santa María and a Masters in Business Management from Spanish University of Lleida .

From 2001 to 2004 Gasparri was secretary of the special commission for the consideration of proposals for the American Free Trade Area , G3, CAN, Mercosur , NAFTA and other international agreements for the Venezuelan parliament. From 2004 to 2006 Gasparri was commercial attaché at the Venezuelan Embassy in Chile and during the same period was a member of the President's Negotiating Commission for Venezuela's admission to Mercosur. Gasparri was then president of the state-owned recycling company REMAPCA until 2016 and, from 2014, chief advisor at the Venezuelan embassy in Canberra, Australia .

On July 18, 2016, Gasparri was appointed Chargé d'Affaires ad interim at the embassy. Besides Australia, he is also responsible for the following countries as diplomatic representative: New Zealand , Nauru , Solomon Islands , Papua New Guinea , Fiji , Tonga , East Timor and Vanuatu .
