Life

Daniel Elias Böhm was born the son of a bowling bar owner, his mother worked in the textile industry.

Böhm spent his childhood in Großschönau and Hainewalde . In Großschönau, Böhm attended the Pestalozzi Middle School from 1998 to 2004 and in 2004 switched to the vocational school center for technology in Zittau. There, Böhm successfully passed his Abitur in 2007.

In 2007/2008 he completed his community service at "Haus Carola" in Hainewalde.

Afterwards Böhm sat in directing and dramaturgy at the Gerhart-Hauptmann-Theater in Zittau . From 2008/2009 under the directorship of Roland May . 2009/2010 under the direction of Carsten Knödler.

In 2010, Böhm began training as an actor at the Western Pomerania Theater Academy. During his training he was a member of the ensemble at the Vorpommerschen Landesbühne under the directorship of Wolfgang Bordel for a year .

Career

Böhm achieved his first musical successes with his first band "Treibsand". The group was founded in 2004, which is best classified in the metal genre . Appearances in local youth clubs and at surrounding events followed. On March 31, 2007, the band agreed on a farewell concert and broke up.

In 2005, Böhm started a second project parallel to the band "Treibsand", in which he wanted to expand musically. The new group of musicians shouldn't get stuck in a genre. The band "Am Tropf" was founded together with Christian Neumann, Simon Schubert and Daniel Radisch. In the first months after the foundation, Böhm rehearsed in the hobby room at home. For this purpose, partly rehearsed and partly improvised texts were underlaid with an individual musical character. So each song got its own style. The genres changed between rock, punk, hit and pop. The awareness of the group grew and so there followed almost weekly appearances all over Upper Lusatia . The band was also booked sporadically in Dresden and even Bavaria. Sometimes there were up to well over 100 fans at the concerts. In 2007 bassist Daniel Radisch was replaced by Marco Jochmann. Due to the local relocation of the work and study of the band members, the performances have been reduced to a minimum. But the band still exists.

After graduating from high school in 2007, she did a three-year internship at the Gerhart Hauptmann Theater in Zittau. Böhm quickly discovered that music alone is not enough. Acting is what he likes. And so he enrolled in the Vorpommern Theater Academy in September 2010 as an acting student.

In September 2013 he left Zinnowitz after successfully completing his acting studies and got a contract at the Vorpommerschen Landesbühne in Anklam.

One year after completing his studies, Böhm applied to the Württemberg State Theater in Esslingen and was accepted. Böhm has been working there until the current day.

As a new project, Böhm is trying to establish himself as a solo singer in the Schlager genre. On August 13th, 2016 he released his first album called "Momente" under his stage name "Elias".

successes

With his first band "quicksand" an album called "Demo" was released in 2006. This was followed by a live DVD called "Hopeless", which was recorded in the Zittau youth club "Hasenbergpalais". Both publications have only become known locally to a limited extent.

With "Am Tropf" two albums were released. In 2007 the first album "The best of greatest hits" and in 2009 the album "und fertsch" came out. The sale could only cover the costs, but the experience grew with each album released. For the release of the first album, beer labels were even printed with the band logo and applied to 800 bottles of beer.

Böhm is involved in a number of plays at the Württemberg State Theater, such as "Two sisters get a visit", "Fatima and the dream thief" or "The short pants gang".
