Daniel Goossens (born May 16, 1954 in Paris ) is a French comic artist .

Life

At the age of 16 Daniel Goossens was able to publish a drawing in Spirou . Regular publications began in 1971 in the scout magazine Pionniers , followed by a few short stories for Pilote . In 1977 he became a regular draftsman for the Fluide glacial magazine founded by Gotlib . He published a series of his absurd series in almost every issue. At the same time, he also worked for the magazines À Suivre , Marie-France , Psikopat and Rigolo . The short stories he wrote for Rigolo were published by Les Humanoïdes Associés in 1985 under the title Laisse Autant le Vent Emporter . An anthology was published in German by Volksverlag in 1982 , and individual stories were published in U-Comix .

Awards

In 1997 he received the Grand Prix de la Ville d'Angoulême and the Prix de l'École supérieure de l'image at the International Comics Festival in Angoulême .
